what's up with the name tuk, you ask? tuk (rhymes with "spook") is a nod to the french-canadian word 'toque', which means 'hat'.

tuk started from an idea i had just after i started curling - i needed a way to not only keep my shiny new broom head clean, but i also wanted somewhere to stash my valuables while i was on the ice. i also wanted to bring a little flare to the sport of curling!

every tuk cover is fully lined, has a secure velcro closure, and is handmade by me on 'erma', my grandmother's antique singer sewing machine. erma (the machine's namesake) was a wonderful, crafty woman who embraced ingenuity. i think she would be proud.
